Typical market prices in 2026

Published price guides disagree on the exact numbers, but they agree on the shape: freelancers cost less than agencies, and custom design costs more than a template.

What our packages cost

Black Track publishes four fixed packages in USD. Each one is custom design and a hand-built site, not a theme.

  • Launch, $490: up to 3 pages, design adapted to your brand, 2 rounds of changes, live in 5–7 business days.
  • Business, $950: up to 5 pages, design tailored to your business, 1 enquiry form, 2 rounds of changes, live in 7–12 business days.
  • Growth, $1,900 (recommended): up to 8 pages, a complete custom look, a project or product gallery, scroll animation, 1 enquiry form connected to up to 2 tools you use, 3 rounds of changes, live in 12–18 business days.
  • Signature Immersive, from $3,900: up to 10 pages, fully custom art direction, a story told as visitors scroll, one 3D scene, 3 rounds of changes, live in 18–30 business days.

Much of our work is done by our team in India, and both our teams work remotely, which is why a custom site from us sits below US agency rates while still being a studio project with written terms.

What drives the price

  1. Number of unique page layouts. Ten pages that share two templates cost less than five pages that are each different.
  2. Design depth. Adapting an existing brand is quicker than creating a complete custom look or art-directing from scratch.
  3. Motion and 3D. Scroll animation and 3D take design, build and testing time, especially on phones.
  4. Forms and integrations. Each connection to a CRM, booking tool or newsletter adds set-up and testing.
  5. Content. If copy, photos or video don't exist yet, someone has to make them. Our studio can, as a quoted add-on.

Costs that sit outside the design fee

  • Domain: billed separately and registered in your name.
  • Hosting and care: with us, managed static hosting is included for the first 6 months on eligible static sites. After that, hosting only is $120 per year, and care plans with monthly checks, fixes and edits cost $49 or $149 a month. See how much website maintenance costs.
  • Media: video cutdowns, motion graphics, 3D assets and photography are quoted per project.
  • Taxes and payment charges: stated in the written quotation.
How much does a 5-page website cost?

A custom 5-page website costs $950 USD with Black Track's Business package, which includes design tailored to your business, one enquiry form and two rounds of changes in 7–12 business days. Market guides put similar projects at $500–$5,000 from freelancers and $5,000–$15,000 from agencies.

How much does a website with 3D or heavy animation cost?

At Black Track, scroll animation is included in the Growth package at $1,900, and a site with one 3D scene starts at $3,900 with Signature Immersive. The final price depends on the 3D work and is fixed in a written quotation.

Is a cheaper template site good enough?

A template can work for a simple site with standard content. A custom site is worth it when the site has to explain a complex product, show creative work at its best, or look clearly different from competitors.
