04 After launch
Hosting and care, once the site is live.
The first 6 months of hosting are included on eligible static sites. After that, choose a care plan, hosting only, or take the files and host the site yourself. Video, motion and 3D from within Black Track Group.
Black Track Studio, our in-house production arm, can make the media your site needs. Add-ons are quoted per project, in the same written quotation as the website, because the cost depends on footage, length, locations and complexity.

06 Terms

Payment
50% to start, 40% when you review the full site, 10% before launch
Invoiced after you approve the written quotation. There's no checkout or card payment on this site.
Quotation
Everything in writing first
The quotation states the price, currency, deliverables, payment method, applicable taxes and any separately agreed payment-processing charges.
Changes
One round = one combined list of changes
Collect your team's comments into one list per round. Launch and Business include 2 rounds; Growth and Signature include 3.
Domain
Your domain, in your name
The domain is billed separately and owned by you. We help you register or connect it.
After launch
30 days of defect fixes
Anything we built that doesn't work as agreed is fixed free for 30 days after launch.
Extra work
Out-of-scope work is quoted first
New pages, features or changes beyond the agreed scope are quoted in writing, at $50 per hour for smaller changes. Nothing is billed without your approval.

Why is Black Track cheaper than a US or European agency?
Much of our work is done by our team in India, where running costs are lower than for agencies in the US or Europe, and both our teams work remotely, without the cost of a large office. The packages are still custom design and hand-built code, not templates, with the same written terms on every project.
Are there costs that are not included in the package price?
The domain name is billed separately and registered in your name. Hosting is included for the first 6 months on eligible static sites. After that, hosting only costs $120 per year, or the Care plan ($49 a month) covers hosting, monthly checks and small edits. Video, motion, photography and 3D assets from our studio are add-ons, quoted per project. Taxes and any agreed payment-processing charges are stated in the quotation.
What does "from $3,900" mean for Signature Immersive?
Signature Immersive starts at $3,900 USD for up to 10 pages with a story told as visitors scroll and one 3D scene. The final price depends on the 3D work and art direction, and is fixed in the written quotation before work starts.
Can I pay in another currency?
Our published prices are in USD. The payment method and currency are agreed in the written quotation before the project starts.
Which hosting is included?
Managed static hosting, with an SSL certificate and CDN delivery, is included for the first 6 months on eligible static sites, which covers the sites we build in our packages. After that it costs $120 per year on its own, or it is included in the Care ($49 a month) and Care Plus ($149 a month) plans. You can also move the site to your own hosting; we hand over the files at launch.
Do I need a care plan after launch?
No. A care plan is optional. Hosting only, at $120 per year, keeps the site online, and any fixes or edits are quoted at $50 per hour. The Care plan, at $49 a month, suits sites that change often: it adds a monthly check of every page, form and link, fixes for anything we built, and up to 1 hour of edits each month.
Can you build an online shop?
Yes, for small shops with a few products. Payments run through your own Shopify or Stripe account, so you are paid directly and keep control of your store. A shop is quoted separately, in writing, because the cost depends on the number of products, shipping and taxes.
Can you fix or redesign my existing WordPress or Wix site?
No. Black Track builds new custom websites and doesn't take on edits, fixes or redesigns inside WordPress, Wix or similar platforms. If you want to replace your current site, we can build a new one and move your content across.
